Description:
Human Dermal Fibroblasts isolated from a patient clinically diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis also known as Motor Neuron Disease.
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is a disease of the nervous system that effects Motor Neurons resulting in muscular weakness and the gradual deterioration of normal body processes. The provided fibroblasts have been isolated from a patient clinically diagnosed with ALS and can readily be reprogrammed to induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSCs) and differentiated into a range of cells types in your laboratory.
If you would prefer this to be taken care of for you by our team at Axol, we offer a Reprogramming and Differentiation service as part of our Custom Projects
All of the cells provided are tested and are negative for HIV-1, HIV-2, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C as detected by PCR.
The cells are confirmed to be negative for Mycoplasma and other detectable microbial contamination.
